Get Involved

If you’re interested in real ale or cider there’s lots of different ways you can get involved…

Socials – The branch organise regular social events, ranging from local pub meet ups, mini bus trips to coach trips to breweries, etc further afield. The events are available for anyone to attend, and you can find details on the socials & meetings page. For mini bus and coach trips you’ll need to sign up in advance by contacting Steve Charton our social secretary.

Meetings – If you interested in meeting up and just seeing what our branch is all about then think about attending a branch meeting. We’d love to see new faces and you can be certain of a warm welcome. We generally hold a branch meeting every month, near the end of the month, we hold the meeting at varying venues in the local area. Check theĀ socials & meetings page to find out when and where our next meetings are – no need to register you can just turn up !.

Facebook – We have a very active group on Facebook with around 1000 members. You’ll find discussion about real ale and cider as well as lots of information on local events and regular updates from local pubs, clubs and breweries.

Join CAMRA – Of course if you are not a member, you should sign up and become part of the CAMRA movement. There lots of reasons to join including discounts at selected local pubs.
