David Baker passed away on Thursday 28th March, aged 82.
He was a stalwart member of the East Dorset branch and was the instigator of Thirsty Thursday. He had been to most Poole Beer Festivals from the start and also organised trips to Beer Festivals out of the area such as Ealing, Pigs Ear, Great British and Worthing plus many more. He was a true gentleman and will be sadly missed.
His funeral will take place at St George’s Church, Darby’s Lane, Oakdale, Poole, BH15 3HU on 12th April from 11.15am. After a private committal there will be a celebration of David’s Life at the Owl’s Nest, West Parley, BH22 8SS.
His family would like as many of his CAMRA colleagues to come along and give him a good send off.
