Festival update

This year marks the 21st year of Poole Beer Festival meaning you can rest assured that we are well practiced on how to put on a good festival. We are going to have an even larger selection of beers on offer than last year so regardless of which session you come along to we will have plenty for you to drink!

Here’s a few more cask beers to look forward to at the festival….

Cloudwater – this popular Manchester brewery are supporting cask ales again after a hiatus and we’re very pleased to be featuring one at the festival, you’ll have to wait till the festival to find out which one though!

Tiny Rebel will be back again with their very tasty Pump Up The Jam – a jam doughnut Pale Ale that is well worth trying.

Barefaced, the local up and coming brewery are going to be treating festival goers to a special Pina Colada version of their Tropical Pale Ale.

Hopback’s Winter Lightning is being brewed earlier than usual especially for the festival, with a spicy hint this is a real winter warmer winner.

Festival favourites Drop The Anchor will be back this year with a new beer in the form of a Blueberry & Pecan Cookie Breakfast Stout.

If you might fancy something a bit stronger then we’re going to have a vintage version of Downtons Roman Imperial Stout, at 9% ABV they say good things come to those who wait 😁

Need Gluten free beers? – we’ll have you covered, we’ll make sure they are easy to spot in the festival programme too.

Cider drinker? We have forgotten you either, we’ll have a strong range of real ciders to look forward to including a limited edition from Dorset Sunshine, another cider from last years Cider of the Festival producer Countryman, and Dickies Dribble from New Forest producer Dickie Frampton.

Don’t forget we’ll post the full list of ales, ciders and speciality beers at least a week before the festival so stay tuned!

Feeling thirsty yet ?! We look forward to seeing you on the 1st and 2nd November. Tickets & info at https://eastdorset.camra.org.uk
